Seminar „Novel strategies and considerations in fighting pathogens“

Project “Twinning on functional antimicrobial surfaces testing and evaluation for real-world performance and sustainability” (FAST-Real) invites to a hybrid seminar “Novel strategies and considerations in fighting pathogens”.

Speakers include members of Biodeterioration and Reference Organisms Division of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, BAM (Germany) and Biointerfaces research team of Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology, EMPA.

Project FAST-Real is developing antimicrobial visible light activated materials, studies their mode of action and antibacterial efficacy.

The event will take place in English, as a hybrid seminar both in room 217 (Riia 23, Tartu) and online.
