Exhibition by Virgylia Soosaar "Metamorphosis"

On February 17 the exhibition by young and talented Estonian artist Virgylia Soosaar "Metamorphosis" was opened at the ground floor gallery of the Omicum.

Virgylia Soosaar has acquired comprehensive and versatile education in art. She is involved in craft training programmes and has published books on this subject. She has also been an illustrator-designer of several school textbooks.
This is the artist's third solo exhibition.

In all the works of this exhibition, the artist has used garbage or residue, to which she has given rebirth through art. The exposed objects have reached the artist from everyday life, also from campfire sites, forest and sea coast. In this way only often the colors to paint with are purchased.

The exhibition is organized by Sulev Kuuse, head of the vivarium, Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology.

The exhibition will remain open until March 6.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
