Bright days in Tibet

What could be better than to travel together with friends in a very special place where almost everything is so different from home as it ever can be on Earth. The Tibetan Plateau, the Himalayas, Mount Everest, Mount Kailash, monks, pilgrims, monasteries and mountain passes with prayer flags – all that I saw within a couple of weeks in September 2017. I left home my camera and took with me instead pencils, watercolors and sketchbooks.

The works of this exhibition have been painted still late at home based on sketches, memories and photos of my friends. The painting was like a new trip.

I work in the Department of Painting of the Pallas University of Applied Sciences. I am a member of Estonian Watercolour Society and I have promoted this  painting technique to wider public more than 20 years.

It is a pleasure to expose my works in this spacious gallery of Omicum.
