International workshop "Challenges and Opportunities in Big Data Analysis"

We kindly invite you to participate in the workshop "Challenges and Opportunities in Big Data Analysis", taking place in Tartu on May 16-17, 2018.

Program

Lecturers

The amount of data available in human genetics and its related fields have rapidly increased during the last years and the traditional data analyze techniques are inadequate to deal with them. The aim of this workshop is to meet experts, who will describe the challenges and opportunities related to different types of big data.
We are expecting lecturers from University of Oxford, KU Leuven, University of Lausanne, University of Helsinki, University of Liverpool and University of Tartu.


The participation is for free. Registration is needed and can be done until May 7 here.


The workshop takes place in collaboration with H2020 Twinning grants WIDENLIFE (692065) and ePerMed (692145) together with the Graduate School of Biomedicine and Biotechnology of University of Tartu (2014-2020.4.01.16-0027, University of Tartu ASTRA project PER ASPERA).
