Reet Heinla's enchanting exhibition of oil paintings "This crazy disappearing world" in the Omicum gallery

Omicum gallery curator Sulev Kuuse invites everyone to enjoy the new exhibition. Reet Heinla's painting exhibition "This crazy disappearing world" is opened in the Omicum building. The exhibition presenting the artist's oil paintings started in the atrium from mid-September, but the official opening took place at 4th of October 2023.

Artist Reet Heinla (1952) says about herself that painting is the path of her soul. At the exhibition you can see enchanting oil paintings that definitely stop the viewer at every painting for some time.

Reet Heinla writes about herself as follows:

I was born in 1952 in Tallinn, graduated from Tallinn Real School and Tallinn University of Technology. In my third year of university, I married Uno Heinla. Our son Horre was born in the last year of the studies. After university, we headed to Tartu, where we lived for four years. Daughter Helen was also born there.

In 1980, we moved to Valga, where I worked in a car depot. I was a deputy director of economics.

After the birth of my third child, Hannaliisa, I turned my life around - I opened my flower salon Sinilill (Liverwort flower in Estonian), which I ran for 20 years.

I have been painting since 2005. I have improved myself in many courses and learned different painting techniques - watercolor, pastel and oil painting. Since 2009, I have remained faithful to oil paints, because I can express myself best with them.

I have studied oil painting at the University of Tartu and since 2014 I have been actively participating in the art studio "Suvi" under the supervision of Robert Suvi. Over the years, I have had several personal exhibitions in Valgamaa, Pärnu and Tallinn. I have also participated with my paintings in all painting exhibitions of the art studio "Suvi" all around Estonia and also outside.
